Hey Everyone,
I have officially finished all 31 days of this year’s Inktober challenge and man was it quite the ride! You never realize how much you’re capable of until you decide to do way too much. I really felt like I hit my stride in the second half of the challenge and incorporated a lot more color as well.

If you follow my blog regularly you already know of my love for Faber-Castell products but this only made that love deeper. I loved being able to use the PITT pens on my illustrations in the Moleskine sketchbook I was using and not have the pigment bleed through to the other side. First of all, I’m a little precious about my sketchbooks and I hate how that looks but also it means I can get more mileage out of my sketchbook by using both sides of the pages.

I’m honestly so happy that I decided to take part this year. It’s such a great creative exercise and seeing all the interpretations others came up with reminded me fondly of my art school days.

Thanks so much if you were following along with me over the past month. I’m looking forward to taking a short break but in the meantime, if you’d like to see more of my work and behind the scenes, I’m most active on my Instagram account, so stop by and say hello!
