It’s always an exciting day when an original art

It’s always an exciting day when an original artwork sells in my shop never mind two! 💗🥰🎉

I like to put a lot of care and attention to detail in the packing of my orders. Not only is it a subtle way of showing my appreciation but it also ensures that the artwork will arrive to its new home safely.

An important note when varnishing paintings is to make sure that the varnish is 100% dry before you wrap it up. Obviously this is a quick video so you’re not seeing that before it goes to the wrapping stage. 🙂

Everything used that is directly touching the art is made of acid free materials.

In some cases I need to buy some of the packing materials but I try to save either the boxes or internal stuffing of any packages that I receive to reuse later. Not only does this help keep my costs low for shipping but it also helps reduce waste.

I add a home printed tag on my packaging to encourage my customer to recycle or reuse as much of the packaging as possible.

I’m looking into some extra environmentally friendly items like paper tape as well for future orders. 🙂

I’ve been really enjoying the process of working in collections lately. 🍒🍊🍍🍌🥑🥝

Taking some of the ideas I’ve had and running with them through multiple pieces has been a great creative challenge and I’m definitely feeling pulled to do more series now because of it.

Wow, Friday already! Also it’s October in a couple days. 🤯 How the heck did we get here so fast! We had planned on a trip out to the mountains today but word on the street was that it was supposed to snow this afternoon. 😱 I’m not ready for that yet.

Loving this reels take on art vs artist. I’m trying to show my face on here a little bit more so that I can connect with all of you more personally. 😅

These are some of my favourite pieces that I’ve created recently using a variety of the mediums that I work in.

I’ve really enjoyed exploring other sides of my creativity recently through other mediums like oil paint. I feel like it has really opened up a new direction for my work and helping me explore deeper into the subject matter that I enjoy creating art around.
