Hey Everyone,
A few months ago I entered a portrait show with my acrylic piece “Audrey” with the intention of donating a large portion of my proceeds from the sale of the original and prints to the Canadian Cancer Society. It was part of my personal goal this year to do a piece that would allow me to give to the greater good in the world. I’m happy to say that I sold the original and some prints and was able to donate $300 to the charity.
I’m hoping to be able to do this again in the future and potentially for other causes as well. Thank you so much to those of you who supported this project and to those of you who bought prints and to the owner of the original. This cause is close to my heart and sadly so many other people as well. My hope is that the money donated can go where it’s needed most, whether that be a family who is currently battling this awful disease or once and for all finding a cure.
